About Blue Bison Mental Health
There are times in life when things feel when things feel unclear, heavy, or difficult to move through.
You may know something isn’t working, but not yet have the words for it, or a clear sense of what needs to change.
My approach begins with listening.
Not rushing to fix, label, or move past what’s hard—but taking the time to understand your experience, especially the parts that feel uncertain or stuck. From there, we work together to explore what’s no longer working and define what meaningful progress could look like for you.
Care is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to the individual—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
About Me
I’m Beckey Baldasaro, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). My path into this work began in nursing, where I spent years caring for people in different stages of health and life. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to the emotional and psychological aspects of care - the moments that weren’t easily addressed with quick answers, but required presence, curiosity, and understanding.
That interest led me to pursue advanced training in psychiatric care, where I now focus on supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, and patterns that no longer feel sustainable.
How I Work
Care may include medication when appropriate, but it is always part of a broader, thoughtful understanding of your experience.
The goal is not simply symptom reduction—it’s helping you make sense of what you’re going through, identify what’s no longer working, and move toward something that feels more aligned and sustainable.
I don’t believe meaningful care comes from a top-down model of “fixing” what’s wrong. Instead, it begins with:
-
Understanding where you are
-
Exploring why certain patterns may no longer be working
-
And working together to define where you want to go.
